These are orchids my husband sent me while I awaited the results of my COVID-19 test.

A 6th grader was booted from class and sent to the main office the other day. I know I probably should not talk to kids who have been naughty, but this fella had a Pokemon t-shirt on, so protocol went out the window. Our conversation went something like this:
Me: So, what are you in for?
Him: I “disrupted the class”
Me: Well, did you?
Him: Yes, but there is so much drama in my class, and I hate drama!
Me: I do too! I like your shirt though. Who is your favorite Pokemon, and did you catch ’em all?
Him: Vulpix
Me: Mine is Hitmonchan
Not too long after that, a Vulpix stuffy made its way into my cart at Amazon. Curious, right?
Then, not too long after that, this made its way on to my desk:
Now we give each other a high five when we pass in the hall.
