Oh No She Didn’t!

Often times, I visit websites and blogs and spend time admiring fellow knitters’ handiwork.  It gives me great motivation and inspiration to be surrounded by all this talent.  But I am me.  I am a work in progress and I have more ‘oops’ than I can count.

This page is dedicated to that me.  The distracted me.  The impulsive me.  The cosmic space cadet that I am and love.  So, if you find yourself lamenting a project gone awry, come sit and have a cup of coffee shot of bourbon with me as we compare our collective woes!

To start this one

I am so happy to all the friends who encouraged me to try knitting socks on one long circular needle.

Oh, yes I did!  I did manage to take 600+ yards of bamboo fingering weight yarn from this:

Kristin Omdahl Bamboo.  So lovely!

And turn it into this:

The body of the shawl is this lovely blue, and the lace edge will be the coral.  Definitely worth the trouble.
